Data interrogation, analysis, charting and practical statistics using Excel
This one-day workshop is intended to give participants hands-on experience working with real oil-field data from Teapot Dome Field, Wy. Six modules cover:
- Well header data
- Well formation tops
- Directional drilling surveys
- Wireline logs
- Check-shot surveys
- Conventional core data
Participants will learn strategies for interrogating large datasets, merging data and creating summary tables and charts. Treating the data with descriptive statistics is also covered.
